Offered at our office in Maryland, these courses will provide you with the knowledge needed to recognize emergencies in the home, work place, and in your community, and provide the skills necessary to respond to that emergency until Emergency Medical Services arrives. You will learn to recognize the warning signs of a heart attack and stroke in adults, and signs of breathing difficulty in children. These courses will teach you how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking.
These courses are also for people who need a certificate (a card) documenting successful completion of a CPR course. First Aid certification is good for 3 years. CPR certification is good for 2 years.
